We Finally found the CBC building...Jonny got to stand on the actual MR.Dressup perch of the tree that he spoke to the late Casey and finnigan spot,
Ironically, nothing was open in the building, but there was a program of French authors going on/being filmed. Red bought a french childrens book. we wondered around. Cant wait to go back while everything is open. Looks like a fun building..lots of lil shops with foods and books....

We met that "English Guy with the Travel show

So

we got up early on Sunday..

(Today..)

and went outside for a walk
hoping to find the CBC building
cuz , well...
We wanted to see it.... :P
Anyway, we couldnt find the CBC building...
or atleast it wasnt where I thought it was...and since it was raining, we ducked into the Mountain equiptment Co-op to dry off and look for water purifiers for our Incase of emergency kitt.
And we see that

"English Guy with the cool funny travel show.."

So we stood in line and talked to him.
why not eh?
Alot of people told him how inspiring he was to them or their kids..and apparently he had a lecture/show the other night alot of people in line had seen. Well, Red had never seen his show, and I couldnt remeber his name, even though I've been watchin him on TV for about 10 years. Its Ian Write
So when we got up to him, we noticed he had a Wellingtons T-shirt on. And I Said
" Hey! thats the beer that was on tap at our wedding"
Then he talked about how the brewery gave him a whole bunch of cases to him last night, and he drank tons of it, and was amazed that it didnt give him a hangover.
He said its a great beer!
we all laughed.
Then he asked "if we saw the show last night?"
Red said No, sorry we didnt"
then I said
" Well actually we saw the new Terry Gilliam movie last night Tideland" instead.
and he said,
"no kidding!?!? is that out yet? how is it?"
We gave his our short review, told him how we read the book...but it was spot on to the book, and actually added alot the the over all story.

We took a few pictures with him,
why not eh?and since he was short like us...we took the last one crouched a little to make him look taller.
He appreciated it alot...
He was signing some postcard size prints of some of his paints and drawings, he nver takes a camera on his trips, just a sketch book...his work is alot like Chagals...So we asked him to sign it. " Red and Jonny, I owe it all to You! "
He did...He's a great guy, with good sence of humour and laughs alot.
Good people.

Then we walked up to the eaton center and had our favorite dish from Jimmy the Greek. The Spinich pie with salad, rice and potato. We took our usual pictures of each-other in mid cheww.

fun day.

The Squirrels made it seem less lonely

Red and I finally got to see Tideland.

Tideland By Mitch Cullin is the first book Red and I read together...
Then we found out one of a favorite Directors Terry Gilliam was making a movie of it.
Well, actually , it was too much of a surprise....this was the writers first book, so he sent a copy to Terry Gilliam. One of his heros.....just to get a review or quote for the jacket....
Terry Gilliam loved it so much,
he not on gave his review blurb for the cover of the book...
which was:: " F*CKING WONDERFUL ! "-Terry Gilliam

The film was everything we wanted and more...

I wont ruin it, but I will say it is disturbing and definatly not for everyone.
Red and I cant wait to own it.....

Red on the Subway

This is a Viddie Jonny shot as our Red, corn townie, Binbrook girlie,
gets on the Toronto subway for the first(ish) time.

Our girl Red is strong and brave, like all great Redhead's....A toronto subway is but a scratch to her witchy armour.

Red entering her Condo.

Heres a viddie I shot when we first got to Reds new condo...
(in case you all were wondering what it looked like.)

Shoes and Goat Milk

Well, first night without Red went okay..managed to get to sleep around Midnight.....lil late for work, but it was because I forgot to bring Reds bag of shoes and had to turn back.. ( Red forgot a bag of shoes in the car, and a beautiful girl in the big city; simply cannot get by on one pair of shoes.
So after work, I grabbed 3 cartons of Goats Milk, 2 bags of the best cheesies ever made...and drove to Toronto. Made it just in time for Corrie! Watched Corrie with Red, cuddled on the couch, snuggled and spooned. Then I left after Jeopardy, felt guilty for leaving her there the whole drive home...... got home in time for Heros, called Red....shes ok, We're watcing hero's, and calling each other at the commercials.

Toy Show Dinner and Subway ride....

Went to the toy show today...it was pretty cool...LOTS of star wars stuff...Lill over priced.... but hey,

SO we grabbed a Storm Trooper helmet, some old star wars glasses, and a Barbie case.

Good scores, and

RED
haggled them all down, she's brilliant.
Then we went out and grabbed some food in T.O.
It was Korean Barbicue, and there was a cooking grill at the table, we cooked our own food, had warm Sake....and a too sweet bubble tea.
Then we went to Reds Condo, left our stuff there, and then practiced going to where her training coarse was on the Subway....lil confusing, but we did it.
Red and I havent been apart in 2 years, so this is a little weird for us being apart for 3 weeks.
