Home.

Today was a great day. We ate mexican , and some vietnam food.
The avacado shakes were not as good as other avacado shakes we've had..... We think they put milk in them.
( Jonny does not drink milk of any kind. The thought of drinking milk from any animal makes him sick,....Red only likes goats milk, for cereal.)

We found a great crinoline, a huge puffy white one, apparently shipped from texas...or somewhere thats near texas....It sounded like it was close to texas....maybe nashville...I dunno. ask red.
We spent the rest of the day looking at Fred Perry shops and getting a good lens cover and cap.
We dropped by Brians shop and gave him his invite, He doesnt "need one" since he's known since day one when we're gett'n married, and he's meh best man, but we made it official....We were hoping to hang out with him, but he had plans.
So
we went out for Pho,
dropped off an invite to old friend Jesse and his fiance Jen...
( Jesse knew Jonny back when he was 15 and had a mohawk and hung out at a theater that showed the Rockey Horror picture show every friday....They went every friday for 2-3 years....yah, the same movie for 3 years...)
and then we drove home.
We bought some bootlegg flicks on the street...
We got Nacho Libre, Cars, and Over the Hedge. 3 for 10 dolla!
We saw the same street vedors getting arrested as we drove past them 10 minutes later. The cop seemed to be lecturing the whole crowd.
We also bought some flicks from a Legitimate viddie store:
Delicatessen ( french)
and
The football Factory ( British)..( One of Jonny's fave books). they were far from 3 for 15$..but we wanted to see these flicks for a long time...and its very hard to find a decent french film..or any french film in caledonia.

We watched Nacho Libre tonight...and laughed harder than we have in a long long time.... .
Its the funniest movies we've seen all year... 10/10

Dress hunting day

Up early(ish) this morning... Had to go to the post office for a package we forgot about.
It was some Weezer stuff we order a long time ago that finally arrived. Cool++. The we went over to the local 2nd hand. Found a vintage fisher price silo (1969) and a fred perry shirt. Some really cool national geographics mags and video.

So now its just:
some food, a shower and we're off to find a wedding dress for Red.
Should be exciting.
Gonna try and find Brians Store in Kensington, give him his invite. Brians my Best man. We met years ago over the inter-webb playing Quake 3.

BBL.

Licenced to Marry

Yes, we got our licence yesterday...YAY!!!++ It was really quite easy, and the lady was super nice. We also put a deposit down on the minister, havent met her yet, but he guy who runs the chappel was really really cool and funny, and said he would try and find us a female minister. Apparently the female ministers tend to be very "traditional" and wont do non religious cerimonies. ( I found that rather funny)

After all that, we were still on time to watch the ENGLAND vs Sweden match. Have to say it was the best match I've seen yet. England were solid, Cole's goal had to be one of the sharpest kick's I've seen. Pity they got tired in the last half and let the swede's get 2 sad goals. Call it English charity. Red let me buy a Chelsea Football Club Jersy to Celebrate. ( I look quite sharp in it. :)

Today it was back to work.

We got 2 replies back on the invites. Auntie Jean and Ray are coming!!!
Jennifer and Mike arn't coming...(I guess something really really important came up. ) Oh well, would have been nice to see them again.
Hope the rest of you will make an effort to come.

We found a hole on the lawn

happy fathers day!!

HaPPy Fathers day dads!

Red baked the dads some pies

Morning

Up early today, Got to find out why Shelly said "No!" at the alter, and what Charlies gonna do!
( On Corronation Street-our favorite show) Yes we're pretty big Corrie fans, we watch it religiously.. Probably gonna go see mom later. Reds finishing up the french invites..yes they've taken longer than expected...but theyre worth it.
Going to go get our marriage licence on tuesday, then meet a minister... then at 3:00..
ENGLAND vs Sweden. !!!! We're gonna watch it at our local pub, have a pint and some fries.
Our car now has 2 Englad flags. LOL. We know how crazy we look, since we see so many other nutcase's driving around with 2 flags on their cars.
Looks like we're gonna get a DJ too, we had hoped to do the music ourselves, but its going to be alot of work to do on a day we just want to relax as much as possible...so my mom's found a DJ from a wedding she went to recently, and said she likes, so i think we'll go meet them soon and discuss the music. I hope they suppply a light system as well...I'd really like a disco ball..If they dont have one, I may phone around to rental shops for one.
'OOPs, Corries just started ...gotta go.
